AHHHHHH! 36 hours with a 16 month old that has to stay flat on his back. I think I’m the one who needs the drugs! Porter is doing so well. His body is responding well to last surgery. He is alert and eating a ton! The only down fall is that with the lumbar drain he has to be flat on his back. Tomorrow we will get the drain clamped so he can sit up. Then the waiting starts (again). We all have our fingers crossed that this is going to work. I snapped this picture yesterday while the drain was clamped and the nurses were changing his dressing! My bald chubby baby!

WOW! Porter is amazing. After all he has been through as still smiling! You should market your entertainment ideas...I know I would love how to keep kids still for longer than 2 minutes! Hang in there! We love ya!
