I love summer time. I love sleeping in and working in my yard. The one down side to summer is that the kids are always bored. People have asked me how I keep my kiddos entertained all summer so here are some ideas. Each of the kids has a chore chart (they have this all year long not just in the summer). Once the kids are done with their chores they can choose something out of the FUN JAR! This is a jar full of fun simply activities ie…make cookies, lemonade stand, talent show, a neighborhood parade ect. Also each week we go on a field trip like the Zoo, Temple Square, Thanksgiving Point, or fishing. I choose field trips that are under $20 and always pack a lunch. I hope some of these ideas help!

I want to go on some of your field trips. I am ashamed to admit this but I do better if someone else does the planning. So if you don't mind...
By the way, I never responded to your email. We are staying in South Jordan in Brian's parent's basement until our home is sold/or figure out what we are going to do.
