9 Years!

This week Ben and I are celebrating our 9th Anniversary. So I thought I would post nine things that I have learned in nine years of marriage…

1. A covered wagon is not only something that the pioneers used to cross the country.
2. Lemon meringue pie is a great “I’m sorry” gift.
3. Expectations for birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries must be clearly communicated otherwise you could be disappointed.
4. Keeping score belongs to a sporting event not in a marriage.
5. The best date night is take out and a movie at home.
6. The toothpaste tube debate can be resolved by purchasing a tube that is a pump.
7. It does not matter how household chores get done as long as they get done.
8. He makes me want to be a better person, mother and wife.
9. I love him more today than the day I married him!
