Momiziams

I think when you become a parent you develop a secret language between you and your child to get them to eat, do or act a certain way. I like to call them Momiziams (English majors don’t judge my spelling, if you have been following my blog for long you know I cannot spell). Here are some of mine….

“White Trees”-Cauliflower
“Green Trees”-Broccoli
“White Noodles”-Chicken Alfredo
“Steak”-Any red meat
“Chicken Nuggets”-Any white meat
“Winnie the Pooh”-Peanut Butter and Honey Sandwich
(the food list could go on forever)

“Monkeys in your ears”-Your ears need to be cleaned out
“Monkeys on your teeth”-Your teeth need to be brushed
(I really do like monkeys)

“Cinderella Hair”-Pony Tail
“Pocahontas Hair”-Pig Tails
(Think of a Princess and her hairstyle, then that princess becomes the name of the hairstyle)

“Number one rule”-Stay by Mom
“I going to count”-Hurry up Mom is going to be mad

You get the point. What are some of your momiziams?

we have brown chicken (pot roast) and pink brown chicken (steak) we can't say the word beef because that's what Chris' family calls tooting.

We have a few. I've been trying to think of some since yesterday and of course, not much is coming to mind. We have, "Cinderella Bun" for a ponytail messy bun. "Pony" for pony tail. "Piggies for pig tails. "Dogs" for our feet. Only because Steve is always asking me to "Rub his DOGS". At one time everything was "Chicken", it was easier to get them to eat it if we called it chicken. I know there is more, I just have to think of them. Have a good day!
