Here Comes Santa!

The older I get the faster times seems to go. Why is that? Thanksgiving was a blast. It was so much fun to be with all the McInnes’. The food was wonderful and the kids receive an early Christmas present from Grammie and Papie! Wiggle Carts. They had a blast riding them. However, their shoes did not hold up to the concrete. Oh well, right!

Singing with Grammie!

All the McInnes cousins!

We flew home Monday morning and the kids begged me to set up Christmas. So we did. The tree this year is decorated in sections. The bottom third…unbreakable’s that Porter can take on and off. The middle third….Mallie’s and Drew’s all of their ornaments they have collected throughout the years. The top third is Mom’s…sentimental ornaments from my childhood. The tree is not something that Martha would stake claim too, but we are a family and are proudly displaying our decorative side!

The kids have written their letters to Santa. Malory is asking for a camera and Drew is asking for a BB gun. Ben feels Drew is old enough to get one…I keep saying, “Your going to shoot your eye out.” Santa is having a hard time reading Porter scribbles but I have a feeling he is going to surprise him with a ball pit on Christmas morning.

This week I am planning on finishing my shopping and getting everything wrapped, wish me luck! Hopefully I will be successful so the week of Christmas I can bake and hang out with family and friends that are coming to town.

Happy shopping everyone!
