It is great to be me!

The balancing act in life is a hard one. Ben is working hard to keep the MSI in the black, so often times I feel like a single Mom. I am not sure if it is the lack of sleep or hormones (maybe both), but last week was a hard week for me. We were planning on blessing ‘P’ (Porter’s new nickname) on Sunday while his parents were in town for a family wedding. So, last week was spent trying to get everything ready for the blessing (my ‘to do’ list along with Ben’s). I got the inside of the house ready during the week and Saturday after a Primary Activity I was going to focus all my efforts of the outdoors. It is really hard to get any outdoor activity accomplished with a newborn and I was not looking forward to it. Anyway, I came home from the activity to find a friend of Ben’s mowing my lawn. Since Ben was going to be building bikes for MSI all weekend he hired his honey do list out! I know that sounds like a silly, but I was so relieved to get it done, even if Ben did not do it!

I spent all day Saturday playing with my kids it was great! The blessing was awesome, and thanks to the help of family it was a stress free event for me. My sister Em said, “Many hands can make a load easier!” Oh is that true! THANKS LADIES FOR BRINGING THE FOOD!

Here are some pictures from this weekend! It is great to be me!!!!

My nice clean yard!

Oh my heart... Mr. Porter looks so dang cute with his smile! What a cutie pie. The blessing was beautiful and the party was a blast.
