This year the garden did great. I feel like I have been canning nonstop for the past month now. This year we put up tomatoes, strawberry jam, salsa, spaghetti sauce, beans, peach pie filling, and peaches. All of the main ingredients were grown in our garden. The kids and I had fun working together all summer. Yesterday we had pumpkin picking party. We ended up with 9 Jack-O-Lanterns and 3 dozen small table ones. The kids are so excited. The finale for the growing season will be apples and apple sauce in about 2 weeks!
